After the Tugboat and Classic Launch Races, you are invited to enter your Launch or Tugboat in a Parade starting at 1300hrs in Auckland’s Inner Harbour.

From Classic Old Timers to the Present Day - a Parade to celebrate the evolution of power driven vessel design over the last 100 years.

Free Entry - all launches & tugboats welcome

Parade Instructions:

1250hrs

Assemble at 1250hrs on the western side of the Auckland Harbour Bridge keeping well clear of participating yachts at Northcote Birkenhead Yacht Club.

Older launches pre 1950 immediately behind MENAI, younger vessels following.

1300hrs

The Parade will commence at 5 knots, led by MENAI flying a distinctive flag.

The launches will motor under the main span of the Auckland Harbour bridge, taking care not to impede ferries who may be passing under the Bridge at the same time.

The Parade will do a circuit of Jellicoe Harbour in front of North Wharf restaurants and proceed to Princes Wharf, do a 180deg turn and head back to the red Westhaven Buoy.

Repeat course to Princess Wharf where Parade will terminate.
