How does a 1 in 10 chance of winning $1,000 cash sound?

Sounds pretty good, right? Well that’s what the odds currently are for the 10 skippers who have entered early for the 182nd Ports of Auckland Anniversary Day Regatta to date.

Want to be in with a chance of winning too? All you need to do is enter your yacht, launch or tugboat in the regatta by 31 December, and make sure you come along to the Prizegiving ceremony for the big draw, where one lucky skipper will walk away $1,000 better off – and it could be you. 

Of course, the more people who enter early, the more the odds will change. But you’ve got to be in it to win it, as they say, and being in with a chance is as easy as entering your boat by 31 December.

Please note: Skippers must attend Prizegiving to qualify for spot prizes, including the $1,000 cash spot prize. Vaccine passports will be required to attend Prizegiving at RNZYS.
