Whether you’re racing in the regatta or not, we invite you to take part in the 2026 Auckland Anniversary Day Sail-Past. This parade of vessels - sail and power, classic and modern - will depart Westhaven at midday and cross the harbour to North Head, delighting onlookers on both shores.
Free to register and open to all vessels, whether you’re racing in the regatta or not - the Sail-Past is a living showcase of the boats that shape Auckland’s maritime identity, and will be one of the day’s most spectacular sights.
It’s your chance to show the city what our boating community looks like today, and to be part of a moment that connects our maritime past with its future.
