Divisions are filling up – but there’s still room for more!
Thank you to everyone who has entered the 184th Oceanbridge Auckland Anniversary Day Regatta! Next Monday looks like it’s going to be a great day for sailing, with fresh southwesterlies, so come and float your boat to celebrate Auckland Anniversary Day.
Our Classic Launch Race is currently looking like it’s going to be a fantastic event with 12 entries so far. We also have 11 Tugboats set to take part in the Tugboat Race which will be an awesome sight to see.
Among the Keelboat fleets, the smaller boats look like they’ll have great competition in Division 3, but we would love to see more of the Classic Yachts and larger modern keelers.
There’s still time to enter, and be part of history in the making, but you’ll need to be quick if you want to get in before the late entry fee applies. It would be great to see some more competition out on the water, so please do enter now!
Enter by 5 pm Friday 26th to avoid the late entry fee and late entries will be accepted until 5 pm Saturday 27th January 2024.
Weather Forecast & Tides for Anniversary Day
Monday’s recreational marine forecast for the Waitemata Harbour from PredictWind.com is for fresh southwesterlies, and a few showers clearing later in the day. A great day for sailing, which should make for some great photographs by our official media team Live Sail Die.

The Members Bar opens from 10 am until 8 pm with brunch available from 10 am.
The new Lighthouse Cafe, which is open to the public from 7 am until 4 pm, is just a stone’s throw from the Westhaven breakwater offering a ringside seat to watch all the action on the water. An Italian-style café, the menu includes savoury and sweet croissants, ciabatta rolls, pastries, and great coffee all in a relaxing Al fresco atmosphere.
