Entries have officially opened for keelboats, classic launches and tugboats for the 2025 edition of NZ’s most historic sporting event – the Auckland Anniversary Day Regatta. And there’s a $1,000 cash prize on the line for one lucky skipper who enters by 31 December*!

Now entering its 185th year, the Auckland Anniversary Day Regatta will take place on Monday 27 January, 2025 and entries are open on the website now.

Be part of history in the making and take part in one of the biggest one-day regattas in the world – and an event that’s even older than the America’s Cup. It’s your chance to go down in nautical history, with the champions’ names from each division engraved on the regatta’s historic trophy collection, which is on permanent display at the New Zealand Maritime Museum.
